I agree fitting head units into a car is a very easy procedure, I find going onto car specific forums they usually have a step by step guide on how to fit them.
my God, i thought you were going to chip in with some decisive insight at the end there, not leave it with
I agree fitting head units into a car is a very easy procedure too
Fitting the head units is simple and even in most cases replacing existing speakers with new ones are simple. But installing additional components like boom boxes, amps, additional speakers etc can become quite technical. Routing the cables throughout the car is always an interesting task!
For the most part they are easy to install, just make sure you get the right wire harness adapter so you dont have to go through the trouble of splicing wires together.
I don’t know how many times i’ve got into someone’s car and the speakers just sounded terrible. They don’t understand how audio works and they end up with WAY to much base. Proper installation is important..
Best left to the pros.

Even as mechanically inclined as I am I was not about to go tearing out the dash in my van… I don’t have the right tools. I got “free” installation with the purchase of the unit so no worries. I suppose for people with time, tools, and access to the right parts you could save some scratch by doing it yourself, but sometimes it can be worth paying for too.
